Why claim birds crossed Atlantic the wrong way, when nearby labs played with bird flu for years?

Beware of scientists bearing gifts

As media outlets around the world repeat the false claims that a Mexican man died due to infection with H5N2 avian influenza (bird flu) in order to promote fears of “the next pandemic,” a new study suggests that another variant of bird flu, the H5N1 type, emerged not from the wild but from scientific institutes where gain-of-function research was and still is being conducted.

The (preprint) study is titled: “Proximal origin of epidemic highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 clade 2.3.4.4b and spread by migratory waterfowl,” and is authored by Dr. Peter McCullough along with two other researchers. Dr. McCullough, one of the world's most published cardiologists, has been a vocal critic of the COVID shots and government protocols surrounding the “pandemic." Like other prominent scientists who have dared to confront the established narrative, he is active in attempting to prevent yet another scientific hoax being perpetrated with potentially devastating results.

Why did the chicken cross the sea? Because… Science!

To date, millions of poultry have been culled following positive tests for H5N1 avian influenza, and likely many millions more will be in the near future, resulting in crushing financial losses as well as shortages of both poultry and eggs.

The study notes that the accepted narrative surrounding this variant is that it was first discovered in the Netherlands in late 2020 and then spread to North America with migratory birds crossing the Atlantic, so that by late 2021 cases were being documented in the United States.

McCullough and his colleagues note that this narrative does not bear scrutiny, as such a spread has never been observed or documented in the past — unsurprisingly, given that seasonal migration flows in the opposite direction.

If so, the logical conclusion is that there have been separate and distinct outbreaks of H5N1 on different continents, and the study suggests one reason why this is the most probable explanation: gain-of-function research.

Lab leaks strike again

The Netherlands is home to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, not far from where the Dutch outbreak was observed. In the United States, the study's authors noted, the outbreaks have all been in near proximity to another scientific institute where gain-of-function research is conducted: USDA's Southeast Poultry Research Laboratory (SEPRL), located in Athens, Georgia.

SEPRL has been doing gain-of-function research into avian influenza, using mallard ducks, since the spring of 2021, manipulating DNA sequences to alter the disease's profile. In Rotterdam, virologist Ron Fouchier, the deputy head of the Erasmus Medical Center, has been engaged in experiments to modify H5N1 since 2012, when he and others succeeded in making the virus airborne-transmissible.

Furthermore, the Erasmus Medical Center has previously collaborated closely with the SEPRL to develop vaccines against H9 avian influenza viruses, "indicating the two laboratories likely share virus samples," McCullough says.

WHO sounds the warning

Quoting the World Health Organization (WHO) from May of this year, the study's authors note that there has been an,

… unprecedented number of deaths in wild birds and poultry in many countries…

From 2021 to 2022, Europe and North America observed their largest and most extended epidemic of avian influenza with unusual persistence of the virus in wild bird populations…

In fact, as the study points out, as far back as 2017 avian flu specialists have been remarking on the “emergence and intercontinental spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza,” which was also considered "unprecedented.”

Bigger, stronger, and faster viruses

Just what is so unprecedented about what is going on? The study notes that,

A literature review on this [H5N1] variant revealed that it — and the subtype from which it emerged — possess conspicuous functions that were not evident in the viruses from which this new clade is alleged to have evolved. These functions include the following:

  1. increased transmissibility leading to markedly faster intercontinental spread
  2. increased persistence, causing uncharacteristic outbreaks during summer seasons
  3. increased virulence for both domesticated and wild birds
  4. increased host range, including a variety of mammal species

Furthermore, the variant appears to have “receptor-binding specificity” that has “unknown consequences,” the study continues. That is to say, the virus appears to have been tampered with in such a way that it has become more contagious.

McCullough and colleagues add that the “significant mutations found in recent human cases … also suggest links to serial passage experiments" — gain-of-function research.

One result has been that there are now, "increasing reports of deadly outbreaks among mammals,” including humans.

It almost looks like the government actually wants dead chickens…

Discussing these findings, Dr. McCullough points out that the official government narrative is lagging behind scientists such as himself in fitting the puzzle pieces together.

He observes that the cull of millions of birds continues apace but appears to have little chance of curbing the spread of this bird flu, given that it is still being spread by migratory birds which are not being culled. If things were allowed to run their natural course, those migratory birds could potentially develop a natural immunity to H5N1 and cease transmitting it. However, given that the government is intent on intervening, the prospect of this variant of bird flu being allowed to die its natural death is greatly reduced.

This is largely because, his study notes, vaccinating against the avian flu using a non-sterilizing vaccine (such as the vaccines available for bird flu) will most likely lead to the emergence of more virulent strains.

Meanwhile, Down Under…

“All the evidence points to this having come out of a laboratory,” McCullough stresses. Similar concerns are being expressed by dissenting voices in Australia, where H7 bird flu variants are endemic and pose little to no danger to humans — and yet, the government there is promoting fear of H5N1 among the people, even though there's no feasible way for this variant to arrive on Australian shores at all.

Unless, that is, it arrives via gain-of-function laboratories, such as the one in Geelong, Melbourne, where government officials have admitted such research is ongoing into various types of bird flu such as H5N1. Millions of chickens have been culled in Australia, too, in recent years, due to H7 bird flu (despite the fact that eating such chickens may not pose any danger to humans at all). But pictures of lots of dead chickens are very effective at inducing fear — and compliance.

Human vaccines that were never tested on humans! What could go wrong?

To date, the human cases of avian influenza spillover from H5N1 documented so far “haven't been too impressive,” McCullough notes. Unless they cause “really serious pulmonary damage” in humans, he predicts, the public is unlikely to panic.

The greater danger, he believes, is what the government is planning to do regardless of the fact that, to date, there have been less than a thousand human cases of H5N1 recorded, ever. Only recently, Dr. Peter Marks, the top vaccine regulator at the FDA, addressed the World Vaccine Congress and described plans to offer 100,000 farm workers a vaccine against avian flu. According to Marks, there are already three vaccines ready to be used.

One of these vaccines, McCullough notes, is the Seqirus vaccine that was approved by the FDA back in 2021, based solely on preclinical data. The vaccine has never been tested on humans.

We're in a new era now where the FDA does not require human studies. Studies can be done in animals and products can be approved in humans.

Readers may recall that the so-called bivalent COVID vaccine was similarly never tested on humans. It was approved on the basis of clinical trials on eight (or possibly more) mice.

Fear the ‘cure’ more than the disease

McCullough's study concludes with an appeal that,

A moratorium on gain-of-function research including serial passage of H5N1 is indicated to prevent a man-made influenza pandemic affecting animals and humans.

The dangers of gain-of-function research were also recently highlighted by former CDC director Dr. Robert Redfield, in a television interview, when he said:

In the laboratory, I could make it [H5N1] more infectious to humans in months … That's the real biosecurity threat, that these University labs are doing these bio experiments … Bird flu is, I think, going to be the cause of the great pandemic, where they are teaching these viruses how to be more infectious for humans.

Redfield does not suggest that this “great pandemic” will “cull” large numbers of humans. But that's not the danger. The real threat is that a populace primed by scaremongering propaganda will readily submit to all-new “safe and effective" bird flu “vaccines” and the consequences will be… well, we may already know.
