‘We own the science’: UN partners with Google to feed ‘climate change’ propaganda
A United Nations official last month boasted that the organization has partnered with Google to feed the public its “climate change” narrative.
UN Under-Secretary-General for Global Communications Melissa Fleming made the remarks during a panel on “Tackling Disinformation” at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) Sustainable Development Impact Meetings.
“We partnered with Google,” said Fleming, adding, “for example, if you Google ‘climate change,’ you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources.”
“We started this partnership when we were shocked to see that when we Googled ‘climate change,’ we were getting incredibly distorted information right at the top,” Fleming said while chuckling.
The UN official then appeared to say that both the UN and tech platforms “own the science”.
“We’re becoming much more proactive. We own the science, and we think that the world should know it, and the platforms themselves also do,” she said.
Fleming’s admission – or boast, as it were – further spotlights Google's morphogenesis from the world’s largest information repository into a globalist bullhorn.
Last month, Google hid from its search results remarks from Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH) that he wants to “kill and confront that movement,” referring to Trump’s supporters. Instead, Google placed old media stories about a Republican legislator who offended Democrats and divisive rhetoric from Joe Biden.
In August, America’s Frontline News reported that in cooperation with Democratic lawmakers, Google will no longer show crisis pregnancy centers in Google Maps when users search for abortion-related services in their location. Crisis pregnancy centers provide financial and medical assistance to help mothers carry their pregnancies to full term.
Just prior, GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel accused Google of deliberately sending Republican National Committee (RNC) fundraising emails to spam. McDaniel shared that this was a practice of Google’s for the previous eight consecutive months. The RNC’s emails throughout the month typically have a 90%-100% inbox delivery rate but drop down to 0% at the end of the month when the fundraising emails are sent out.
In February, Google notified America’s Frontline Doctors that it was downranking the physician-led civil rights organization to hide it from search results for not following the approved “facts” on COVID-19.
At the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2022 in March, YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki revealed that the Google-owned platform does not always show users content tailored to their preferences, but will select the information YouTube feels the user should see.
