WARNING: You may be a Militia Violent Extremist
If you have ever used the phrase “I will not comply”, defended the Second Amendment, posted Revolutionary War imagery, the Gadsden Flag, the Betsy Ross flag, or Marvel’s “The Punisher” symbol, you may be a “Militia Violent Extremist”.
A Militia Violent Extremist (MVE) is a new brand of domestic terrorist, according to FBI documents obtained by Project Veritas. FBI whistleblowers provided the guerilla journalist organization with a memo characterizing MVEs.
“The following symbols are used by Anti-government or Anti-Authority Violent Extremists, specifically Militia Violent Extremists (MVE),” says the memo, marked for FBI internal use only. “MVE symbols are often found on propaganda, online platforms, memes, merchandise, group logos, flags, tattoos, uniforms, etc. Widespread use of symbols and quotes from American history, especially the Revolutionary War, exists within MVE networks. Historic and contemporary military themes are common for MVE symbols.”
The memo, labeled “law enforcement sensitive”, then hints that while these political views should not “independently” be considered MVEs, they may require monitoring.
“The use or sharing of these symbols alone should not independently be considered evidence of MVE presence or affiliation or serve as an indicator of illegal activity, as many of these individuals use these symbols for their original, historic meaning, or other non-violent purposes.” [emphasis original]
The following are some of the characteristics of MVEs, according to the FBI memo, which paint a portrait of the quintessential political opponent of the Biden regime:
- Considering Ashli Babbitt, a conservative who was executed inside the Capitol on January 6th, a martyr.
- “2A: Justifying their existence with the Second Amendment, due to the mention of a ‘well-regulated Militia’”
- “Warrior culture: military themes but [sic] historical and contemporary.”
- “Gadsden Flag: Historical American symbol, representing gun rights and limited government.”
- The Liberty Tree
- The Betsy Ross flag
The following are some phrases used by MVEs:
- “When tyranny becomes law, rebellion becomes duty,” or variations of the phrase.
- “I will not comply.”
- “Well-regulated American militia.”
- “All enemies foreign and domestic.”
MVEs are apparently inspired by events such as the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing, an attempted bombing by “The Crusaders” in 2016, and attacks on law enforcement in 2020 by Steven Carrillo.
Significant events MVEs may reference include the 1992 siege in Ruby Ridge, Idaho in which law enforcement tried to apprehend Randy Weaver for failing to appear on firearms charges. Others include the 1993 Waco Massacre.
