Vaccinated develop symptoms quicker - proving shots work: German Health Minister

German Health Minister Karl Lauterbach Wednesday explained how the COVID-19 injections are effective, despite the shots being found to protect against neither infection nor transmission.  They've also been found to cause serious adverse side effects and death

Speaking at a press conference last week, Lauterbach claimed that the shots have helped restrain the spread of the pandemic because the injected develop COVID-19 symptoms quicker and therefore begin isolation sooner than those who have not been injected and may not develop symptoms at all.

“In those who are vaccinated, symptoms often begin before the viral load is very high,” said the health minister. “This is very different for unvaccinated people.”

As reported by German news outlet Focus, "Lauterbach claims that one of the reasons why vaccination limited the pandemic was that vaccinated people showed symptoms earlier and thus isolated themselves earlier, before the viral load and the risk of passing on the virus is high.”

Lauterbach’s statement directly contradicts those previously made by other public health authorities such as the US Centers for Disease and Control Prevention (CDC). The CDC began advising in October 2021 that the “unvaccinated” must isolate immediately following exposure to COVID-19 while those who were injected should get tested 5-7 days after exposure because they may develop symptoms later, if at all.

As Health.com reported in December, “the CDC recommended vaccinated people test five to seven days after close contact with a person suspected to have COVID-19 (unvaccinated people were instructed to isolate immediately after exposure and watch for symptoms for 14 days). According to the latest CDC testing guidance, people who were exposed to COVID-19 and do not have symptoms should wait at least 5 full days after the exposure before testing. If you test too early, you may be more likely to get an inaccurate result.”

Furthermore, the CDC’s MMWR report in December showed no difference between the incubation period for those who were injected versus those who were not.

Lauterbach recently came under fire for refusing to disclose information about his COVID-19 injections, which he called a “medical matter”, even while mandating China-style vaccine passports for Germany citizens, reported America’s Frontline News

Lauterbach tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this month despite having had four injections. He is taking Paxlovid and reported mild symptoms, but admitted they were “more severe” than they should have been, according to Berliner Zeitung.

“Despite four vaccinations and Paxlovid, I had more severe symptoms than expected,” said Lauterbach.

But when asked when he received his fourth shot, Lauterbach refused to say, suggesting that his medical information is a private matter.

"Please understand that we cannot go into details on medical matters,” said the Health Ministry in a statement.

The refusal comes as Lauterbach moves to escalate the country’s forced vaccinations by introducing a color-code update to the Corona-Warn-App (CWA) vaccine passport mimicking the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) vaccine passport system. Under the Infection Protection Act, the updated app will show as green for those considered “freshly vaccinated”. They will be permitted to remain mask-free in indoor public areas. The CWA will turn yellow if the citizen may need to isolate for seven days, and a red color code means the holder of the “passport” is not considered freshly vaccinated and must wear a mask in public.
