Fact check: Does transgenderism just want the right to exist?

In a recent Instagram post, actor Pedro Pascal admonished his fans for not embracing transgender people, who he claimed want nothing but “the right to exist.”

"I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," he wrote.

Fact check: False

Over the last decade, transgenderism has been officially adopted by Western governments, institutions, and corporations worldwide. It has been mandated and imposed on citizens and families in major countries, and those who reject it have lost their livelihoods, reputations, and freedom. Therefore, Pedro Pascal’s claim that transgender people are seeking only the right to exist is false.
