Company seeks ‘non-woke’ workers as employers pass on ‘pronouns’

A company in Western Australia recently posted a want ad seeking to hire an employee who is “not woke”.

Wallis Computer Solutions explained in the job advertisement that its new MSP L2+ Technician need not have “pronouns” and that the company would never implement forced vaccinations.

“We are looking for an MSP technician who is now looking for a position in a company who is not woke and values diversity of thought,” the ad read. Under “Core Position Details”, the company wrote: “No requirements for pronouns, we know what a woman is and you will never be forced to get any medical treatment.”

The company also clarified that the applicant is “not required to have COVID vaccine or any other vaccine to work”. The statement is characteristic of Wallis Computer Solutions, which last year posted an ad for an “Unvaxxed Remote MSP Technician”.

While they may not be as frank about it, most employers pass on applicants who include their pronouns in their resumes, according to a Business.com report. Fifty-nine percent of job seekers who claim to be “non-binary” — neither man nor woman — say that doing so has affected their job searches. Fifty-one percent of those who claim to be “non-binary” say that doing so has negatively affected their work experience.

One netizen recently went viral online for explaining why applicants who include pronouns can receive automatic rejections:

If I was hiring and I saw pronouns, here's what I'm going to assume: I'm going to assume you're obviously very liberal. So, I'm going to assume you're one of those people that is super Far-Left. I'm going to assume you're not a very hard worker. You are either a female or you're a probably-not-straight guy so everything in the office is going to have to cater to you, your feelings, your needs and your emotions, so everyone around you is not going to be able to be themselves and [will have to] walk on eggshells. Why would anyone want someone like you unless everyone's like you in a work environment? You're going to be the laziest person, you're going to be the most entitled, complain the most, and I think you're going to be the first to sue. So shocker that pronouns weren't helping you guys.
