Comedienne who collapsed on stage won’t be getting 4th COVID shot

Heather McDonald, the comedienne who went viral recently for collapsing on stage as she bragged about her vaccination status, has now said that she will not be getting the fourth COVID shot.

As reported by AFLDS Frontline News, McDonald boasted about being vaccinated during her act.

“I don’t mean to brag, I don’t care, but I want you to know that: booster, flu shot, and – I'm gonna be honest – I have the shingle shot too. And I still get my period! WHAAAAT!” said the 52-year-old comedienne to accompanying laughter.

“Traveled, went to Mexico twice, did shows, meet-and-greets, never got COVID,” she added. “Clearly, Jesus loves me the most. Seriously. So nice. So nice.” At that point, McDonald collapsed.

In a recent interview with Dr. Drew Pinsky on Ask Dr. Drew, McDonald asked the doctor if the fall was connected to the COVID-19 vaccine.

“We looked back, and I did get the booster – which I had double Pfizer and Moderna booster, three weeks to the day of the fall,” said the Juicy Scoop podcast host. “Is there anything that you’ve seen about time-wise? Because I asked the doctors about that –”

“Two to three weeks,” cut in Dr. Drew. “Two to three weeks is where you see a lot of this stuff.”

Drew then related that he has a friend who just got the booster and is experiencing severe side effects.

“He got really destroyed by it,” said Drew. “He still can’t walk across the room. He’s having all kinds of symptoms.”

“There’s a lot of funny stuff,” Dr. Drew continued, referring to the vaccine’s effects. “We don’t know what it all is or where it’s coming from.”

But the physician said he still recommends the vaccine, at least for now.

“But it’s still worth doing it,” he said. “I’m not at the point where I’m saying that – it’s still worth the risk.”

McDonald fractured her skull when she collapsed on stage. The doctors at St. Joseph’s ran tests but were unable to come up with a viable explanation for the fall.

Dr. Drew then said that he was “worried” that McDonald was suffering from myocarditis, a heart condition known to be caused by the vaccine, which is why he had asked for the results of her echocardiogram.

That’s when McDonald suggested that she’s done with COVID-19 vaccinations.

“I don’t think I’m gonna get the fourth booster though, I will say that,” said McDonald. “I think I’m done. I think I’m done right now.”

“If you were 80, it would be talked about,” replied Dr. Drew. “I literally talked about it to my 75- and 80-year-old patients this morning, that I was telling them, ‘eh, I think you’re probably going to need it’. You don’t need it. There’s no evidence for that.”

Dr. Drew Pinsky, host of Loveline and Celebrity Rehab, famously cautioned people at the start of the pandemic not to panic or buy into media-sparked frenzy regarding COVID.

“Stop listening to journalists,” said Drew at the time. “They don’t know what they’re talking about.”
