CDC warns meat may cause injury amid climate jihad on beef
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Thursday published a report warning about alpha-gal syndrome (AGS), a condition which can make a person allergic to red meat and dairy.
AGS is thought to be caused by a bite from the “lone star tick,” found in many southeastern states. The tick bite triggers the victim’s immune system into fighting off the tick’s saliva, which contains molecules very similar to those in alpha-gal, a sugar found in products from mammals such as meat and dairy.
Severe symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, shortness of breath, drop in blood pressure, hives and facial swelling can erupt between two to six hours after consuming meat or dairy. According to reports, even the smell of meat can be enough to trigger symptoms in some people.
As many as 450,000 Americans may have been infected with AGS but remain undiagnosed due to low awareness, says the CDC.
“Alpha-gal syndrome is an important emerging public health problem, with potentially severe health impacts that can last a lifetime for some patients,” said epidemiologist Dr. Ann Carpenter in a CDC statement. “It’s critical for clinicians to be aware of AGS so they can properly evaluate, diagnose, and manage their patients and also educate them on tick-bite prevention to protect patients from developing this allergic condition.”
It is unclear whether the CDC’s warning will eventually see meat and dairy products restricted to protect AGS-infected people from injury.
Though AGS has been known for decades, the CDC’s report last week came amid an increased onslaught against meat and dairy for causing “climate change”. Secretions from livestock are said to release methane emissions which harm the weather, prompting globalist powers like the World Economic Forum (WEF) to vow that by 2030, “you’ll eat much less red meat – an occasional treat, not a staple.”
Some governments committed to the WEF agenda have already launched a soft war against farmers under the pretext of “climate change” which include thousands of farm buyouts.
Last month, the Biden administration approved the commercial sale of lab-grown or “cultured” meat, making the US only the second country in the world after Singapore to do so. The approval was granted to Bill Gates–backed companies Good Meat and Upside Foods, which aim to reduce carbon emissions by replacing beef with fake meat.
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who recently vowed to reduce meat consumption in the name of health and “climate change,” has already made plant-based meals the default option for patients in the Health + Hospitals network. Adams’ office says it is on track to distribute 850,000 plant-based meals to patients in 2023. The city also became subject to new food standards last year which place a cap on the amount of meat that can be served by municipal agencies and a minimum quota for plant-based foods. The rules also state that processed meats must be phased out by 2025.
