Anti-mandate Pastor Artur Pawlowski arrested again by Canadian police

Pastor Artur Pawlowski, a well-known freedom and anti-mandate activist, was just arrested at his home in Calgary, Canada as he was about to leave for a freedom rally in Milk River, as reported by Rebel News.

According to the pastor’s son, Pawlowski was arrested by undercover police who had been staking out his house. The reason for the arrest is still unclear.

The Alberta government has repeatedly persecuted Pawlowski ever since he went viral in 2021, just after a Canadian law was passed forcing the closure of houses of worship in the name of public health. A video circulated that showed police entering the Cave of Adullam Church during the service on Easter weekend to shut it down. Pawlowski chased them out.

“Out of this property you Nazis! Gestapo is not allowed here!” he shouted at them. “Out, Nazi! Out! Nazis are not welcome here! Do not come back here you Nazi psychopaths!”

The church continued to stay open and Pawlowski was arrested and tried. Along with fines and prison time, Justice Adam Germain imposed a travel ban on Pawlowski to limit the spread of his opinions, and also decreed that Pawlowski must issue a Soviet-style disclaimer written by Germaine after any public comments Pawlowski makes about COVID-19.

The disclaimer read: “I am also aware that the views I am expressing to you on this occasion may not be views held by the majority of medical experts in Alberta. While I may disagree with them, I am obliged to inform you that the majority of medical experts favour social distancing, mask wearing, and avoiding large crowds to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Most medical experts also support participation in a vaccination program unless for a valid religious or medical reason you cannot be vaccinated. Vaccinations have been shown statistically to save lives and to reduce the severity of COVID-19 symptoms.”

The ruling was considered so absurd that Pawlowski was able to get an emergency injunction against the ruling until June 14, 2022, when a proper appeals process will take place.

In January, Alberta police arrested Pawlowski again during a protest outside of Health Minister Jason Copping’s home. This time, Pawlowski was arrested along with his brother, Dawid, and they both were charged with criminal contempt of a court order because they were not wearing masks and were part of a gathering.
